Honestly i think both of these cars are faster then the M3 but you tell me your opinion. Ive been arguing with my father and my brother for 2 hours now please tell me wut u think.

 

stock to stock, cobra might give a good run with the M3, but I still put my bet on the M3. Nissan 350Z would not have a chance running against M3. Unless you are running FI

Depends on what year Cobra. The 03-04 will, the 99-01 won't, as it would be close, with the edge given to the M3, and a 96-98 Cobra would lose, all given decent drivers.

With Similar drivers, the Z will lose against an E46 M3. I did beat one several times, but the driver had horrible 60' times. He took my advice on his last launch, and kicked my tail with a 13.1@108. His car only had an intake and exhaust.

Here are the best stock times I have seen with good drivers.

E46 M3, low 13's.

03-04 Cobra, mid to high 12's.

99-01 Cobra, mid 13's.

96-98 Cobra, high 13's.

350Z 6 speed, mid to high 13's.

 

Are you serious, a 350Z will not hang with a properly driven M3, I mean when did the Z gain half a second in the 1/4 Mile, or gain 5 to 6 mph in trap speeds. Look I know some Z owners have run high 13s stock, but the average Z owner isn't running those times, and even at high 13s, still slower than properly driven M3s, and since Z owners have tendency to only use the very fastest times for their cars (I swear you all claim your 13.6 second cars stock), then it's only fair to use the fastest M3 times of 12.8 and 12.9.

 

I'll agree that, properly driven, the M3 is the faster car. If the "average" Z owner can't hit a high 13, then the "average" M3 owner is certainly much worse off.

 

04 cobra is too strong........1/4 =12.7......390hp + tq numbers...it will walk away from an m3 as well....

 

I think its sweet that a $26,000 is even in the same convo as theese well overpriced 50,000 dollar cars. I will pick the Z anyday no matter what the times are. Then if I do lose to a Ford or overpriced beamer then i will add more good goods

03-04 Cobra will decimate the M3 and 350Z.

An 01 will be close the an M3 and will beat the 350Z. A 99 with "the fix" should be similar to the 01.

The M3 will beat the 350Z.

The 350Z just can't compete with those cars when it comes to straighline speed.

A LS1 F-Body is one of the best bang for your buck cars far as quick car with lots of power and simple mods will gain lots of hp. For less than $450 I had a Trans Am that would run 7.90's 1/8mi ... Also a 03-04 cobra is great also but it cost several more thousand dollars to get one.
