How do I find out what size slicks will fit the Z? I want to buy a set myself. And when you bring the slicks, you need another car to put the slicks in right? Cause I dont think you can drive on the highway with slicks on, am I correct?

yah your best option is to have someone drive a truck there for you so ya can load your slicks or have it trailered there.. the easiest option is to get drag radials, there like slicks but with thread so if ya dont live too far from the strip that works too

Congrats man! I was like when you called me and told me that yesterday. I ended up driving over an hour (in traffic) to Cecil, waited 2 hours cuz of oil all over the track and had to go home after 1 run. I "only" went 13.1 again at the same trap, my 60ft was .3 off of yours. A 1.5 60ft is SICK, I shoulda gone to Capitol and duked it out heads up with you. My hats off to you, Im glad there is somebody else going 12's, now you have motivated me to whoop your a$$ harder
We ran 2 weeks ago, 2 runs, best I did was a few cars out, worst I did he was a tad more than 1 car behind me. I still got you on the street
BTW-to the guy in the Turbonetics Z-nice trap ! Especially for how hot it was...I shoulda gone to Capitol

BTW, Incredible N/A time raptor, that is just amazing, you really are showing the true power, and potential of the Z....keep reppin' that shiZZZZZZZle.
Hey Tim next time you roll out with Steve, hit me up, I might do some cruisin tonight, I gotta race this S2K that beat me last weekend, my launch was good, but I wasnt paying attention to my shifting, and I could be powershifting too, he inched me out the first race to 105 or so, and on the next run, he pulled a fender to 107...dAmN!!!
Ill give you a call to see if you want to roll tonight, Ill hit steven up if I cant get ahold of you, 2753131, late!

My car still smokes. I am taking it to Scotts Performance in Santa Clara next month. I will be back better than ever. So I cant be cruising in my car until August to say the least. But I will let you know if we ever go out and cruise again. Peace!

Congratualtions on an amazing launch and amazing run!
Guess I gotta get my *** back to the track. What size/type of wheels are you using and what is the offset? how wide a spacer do you need to run?
What kind of tire pressure? Launch RPM?
I've never tried a set of full slicks although ET streets are pretty close in comparison i'm sure.
Congratulations again. I guess my record has been broken and the bar has been raised!

yea to launch the car i knew i had to keep from bogging with such large slicks so i reved up to 5-6k and dropped it down with the intention of spinning my wheels, but with those slicks i just shot right off and never bogged. I needed about a half inch of spacing to fit the 15's over my non brembo brake calipers. I know theres much room for improvement because i shifted like a grandma, and i didnt even keep the gas down between shifts, so once i have the launch as 2nd nature, i can focus on powershifting and get a better trap speed and hopefully better ET, but for now im done til i get a few more substantial mods.

Oh man, you don't understand how happy that makes. Do you have the full reflash or the limited one? I may have all those mods minus the clutch/flywheel plus headers by the end of the summer, look for me in the 12's in September/October!
