you definately need to work on the launches and quickening you shifts. that's not too bad but i pulled over a 2.2 60' on stock potenzas at 13.6. practice makes perfect man.
yea im running in phoenix heat dont forget, that takes a toll on your power, all i really need to work on is my launch, this is the first time ive 1/4 since my WRX so I really need to adjust to the Z, once I get my launch down ill be running much better
its simple, 105 degrees out, heat sink sets in, turbo cars will run like ****, plus the kid was a little new to it
I don't like the temperature excuse too much. The operating temps of your car far exceed whatever temperature it maybe outside so any air is "cold air". It may run better in colder temps but it's not an excuse for that much error. If your engine gets heat soaked, that's one thing. If you get an hour between runs, there's no excuse.
the kid in the wrx cant launch for **** and also you should learn how to launch I was doin 2.2 and 2.1 on stock tires. IDK when i was stock I was running 13.9 @101 and i know it all depends on the conditions but mine are preety bad i know im at sea level but it is humid and hot as hell here.
well id say my times arent bad for only running three times, I saw my error when I ran the 14.3, so next time I know I will do better, I will most likely have aftermarket wheels though, F running stock, its no fun, need more traction, and the heat here does take a huge toll on turbo cars, I couldnt break 15 seconds in july in my WRX, ran it in Jan. and I was running high 13s.

Clearly you haven't drag raced much. Hot air is far less dense that cold (ie it has less available oxygen). Have you ever heard of a thing called density altitude? With my cars, running in 90+ degree weather sucked out an easy .3-.4 seconds and 3mph vs running in 50 degree weather. Same 60 foots, same shift points, same mods.
Heat soak on turbo cars ruins performance, still no excuse for the lame 60 ft. for an AWD, He should of murdered you of the line, then start reeling him in!
Good times, I've ran simliar times too. My fastest was a 14.3 with a 2.3 60ft at 99.7. It was hot and the humidity was killer on that day. Plus the track prep was horrible.
