Tonight, at 7:00PM exactly, I ran my first stock 13.9 (13.926). I loved it, and I still think theres potential to get lower.

When I say stock, Im talking '05 Enthusiast OFF the show room floor, spare tire, 36psi @ all tires and all that crazy jazz. The only thing "different" is most dealers have more than an eighth of their tank full...

• No passenger seat...
• No spare
• Rear tire pressure at 22psi
• 1/8 tank of 93 Octane

I got a chance to run at the Houston Raceway Park this last weekend. But due to the sheer number of people, I only got 4 runs in. I was just BARELY getting used to launching on these tires. The best I pulled was 13.8@100.1 with a 2.0 60'. I was launching at 4k rpm, and I WAS STILL BOGGING! I was freakin shocked. These kdw2's are amazing. There were plenty of dragsters laying some good rubber down, which I am sure helped the traction. I also left the spare tire and passenger seat in. I got to weigh my car. With me in the car, it weighed 3385 with a 1/8th tank of gas. Anyways, I hope to go back soon and get 10+ runs in. Once I can get into it, I really believe I can pull 13.6 or better with this rubber and hopefully 1.9x 60 foot. Here's the time slip.

 

Nice launch considering the bog. BTW how much do you weigh? I Wanna get an idea of what yours weighs, I remember mine being 3280 with everything in it, 1/2 tank...

 

I reweighed the car without me and it was an even 3200lbs. Not bad considering I'm 6'2".
