Default 10/26/05 1/4 mile time rrrr.

Well the weather was great tonight, and was expecting some good times. But I'm having issues with 2-3 shift,I have missed shifted 2-3 shifts on both of my outings on the second pass(only got 2 runs each time )Car is still fairly new to me 3 weeks in my hands.I just cannot get that crap in third sometimes.
track time tonight on first run no miss shift was
13.8 @ 101
second run I missed third and out of frustration missed fourth to
I have new tranny and diff fluid comming(redline) so hopefully it makes things a little smoother on the shifts to third.

i saw you run. the first pass was pretty good....then i saw the one where you missed the gears . it happens, last wed when i took the cobra out to get some initial passes i was having 3rd gear issues. The track wasnt too good last night since the rain washed all the prep off earlier in the week and with all of the street cars running. I usually pulll low 1.9's all night and my best 60's were only 2.0's. I only went slightly quicker at a 13.41@104. I was really hoping for better with the weather but i had to pedal all the way through 1st and 2nd

Nice times at SlipWorld.

I got to run 2 passes tonight with a 3/4 tank and left the tire pressure alone. I noticed they decently prepped the track as well? Maybe it's just me.

13.972 @ 100, 2.0 60' Pegging off 3rd gear rev limiter once.
13.986 @ 100, 2.1 60' My launch was not that great

Beddow, were you at Speedworld today Friday?

Thanks for the time slips. Much appreciated. Great runs. And the 0.79 second reaction time is worth noting.

No Zexy I was not out there tonight, waiting for the Crawford highflow cats and underdrive pully to come in.Thanks for noticing the reaction time davidv alot of redlights have come to get my consistent reaction times though. Here is the 1 I'm most proud of with the Z it came on the 2nd pass and as earlier stated I missed 3rd on this one. What a shame to.
I'm right lane(9340) This run was against an EVO some 60' that guy's got huh.He needs only .6 worth of practice out of the hole.

ah man, I had a crappy night too. It was so cold, and my tires are bald so I couldn't get any traction. On the first run I spun through 1st and 2nd, cut a 2.7 60', missed 3rd gear and just said the hell with it. Put it in 4th and drove regular the rest of the way in to a tune of 15.7

On the second run the Maf sensor broke loose of the pipe and the car shut down on me 1/3 down the track. After the little tow man came out to get me, I didn't have the motivation to run again and retired for the night.

The temperature sensor was flashing "ICY" on the way back home.

BTW, Did you have the tranny replaced? The new tranny in mine makes 3rd harder to get into. I never missed 3rd with the old one.

I checked a hundred plus time sheets, and I have never had a 0.00 reaction time. Do you or are you considering competition racing?
