my and my friend were arguing about the 350z racing a sti and a r34 on a track. i think the 350z would be about even with the sty and the r34 would blow them both out the box. what do you guys think? and how about on a drag race?

also does the 350z come twint turbo in japan?

Stock for stock the 350z is actually faster around a looopy track than a r34 GTR. the STi is faster than the 350z.

 

The STI and Z around a track would probably be pretty close, but the STI has the power/tq advantage and probably would inch away on the straights, maybe not, the GTR would SMASH them both easily..

On the nurrimburg (smashed that spelling) website, the 350z placed higher than teh skyline, but below the STi..im basing it off that

Stock...GTR would win straight line. Its got higher redline, more even power ect. no 350z comes NA in the states and in Japan. they're practically the same here and there.

 

on a track the z would lose to both. If you ever notice when Time attack's are done by tthe world's largest tuning companies hks, mines, re ameyia etc...the fastest cars in the groups are always listed as evo, skyline, sti. on a track those cars perform. I own a z , an r33, a 240sx w/ sr20det , and a 200sx w/sr20det an by my own judgement the skyline stock for stock will definitly be the fastest out of the group. Asfar as modded goes if you were to take a sti modded and skyline modded the sti will probably do better based on its weight ratio. AWD is killer when it comes to tracking cars.

 

straight line on the freeway a stock Z would def hang with a stock STi and for argument, even take an EVO.
