Default 13.6 in an '06...nice

I went back to Englishtown last night to redeem myself from a slew of 14.1-14.4's 2 weeks ago. I put 275/40/17 BFG DR's on a set of stock 17"s(thanks Sam). My first 2 runs i got 13.8's at 101.8 with 2.1 60's. The 3rd run I cracked a 13.6 with a 1.9 60' at 101.8.
The last run my clutch stuck to the floor, and ran a 17 or something like that. I was pissed because I new what I had to do to get better, but my car was in severe disagreement. Oh well

Good driving. Do you think that the car can do 13.57 as is?

I have an Invidia exhaust and a injen cold air. I have headers to put in, but I'm waiting to get some resonated test pipes to do the whole job in one swoop.
The first run I spun the tires a little and got a 2.1 60. The second run I pulled the brake light fuse and cooked them. 2.1 60 again. third run I spun them a little in the box(no water), dumped it at about 4500, spun for a little, hopped, and ground second. I didnt lift to shift 2-3 and 3-4.
I do think I could have got a better time, but we'll see. To throw out an exact number like 13.57, well thats just taking bracket racing to a whole new level

As far as the clutch sticking to the floor. I have done back to back comparisons on the street and (I think)figured this out. If the car is being reved and dumped, it doesnt like that. If I hold the throttle steady and drop it it, it never sticks. Either way, its no fun cooking the clutch like that.

Must be nice running with a low D.A. Here in Vegas, it's usually 5000' +.

oh yeah.. it definitely has more..

try also a bit lower tire pressure, you should do better 60fts

my time in the sig was with 1.92 60fts, jwt intake and test pipes only. A bit more practice with tire pressure experiment and you'll drop easily another .2-.3 in my opinion.

Things look good --- heat soak at the strip sucks and the stock box will most likely be better --- 13.5 or better!

Anyone dyno with just testpipes changed out? Open header runs?

+1 Also, sell your exhaust and intake and get a utec. Thats what I did, I kept my stillen tp's and put a K&N drop in filter. I might look into a Y-pipe but just with those changes I felt a big difference. I your big money then just get a utec and have fun.
