alberto launches like a little girl on training wheels, i would guess he had like a 2.5 60foot. actually, one night when bert was going to launch at the track, i stood next to his car on foot. i actually hit the 60 foot then had time to turn around before he got there.....

oh yeah BTW, i have been working a lot and havent had time to go where you asked me yet, i will first thing in the morning... thanks!!!

With the time i spent on the dyno, what i have above is also where i made the most power. But that was with the Kinetix SSV. I sold it so i need more dyno time once i get a spacer or something.

Right now i am running the stock plenum and my A/F is 12.5 then 12.2 near redline. I just ran on the reflash at the track, did not bother doing a tune with the utec. I will retune once i get the newer plenum. Running a bit rich, but the car does feel strong.

I need to do the fuse mod aswell.

Cant wait to go back. Also, i love the fact that all my wheel hop was gone with the slicks

Those some nice times Bert, i will try my best to beat them

Cant wait to see your new turbo times, i know you and Jeremy have a friendly competition going on. I heard he can run faster than you can shift.

First off congrats on your times for your first time out on slicks... Oh and that comment about Jeremy running faster than Bert can shift..
I ran on slicks for my first time about 2 weeks ago.. I only got 3 runs in, my best 60ft was 1.96 or something close to that. After the first launch my clutch just wasn't having it. I was leaving around 4800-5000, and the clutch would just stick to the floor.. I'm going back tomorrow on street tires just to see what I can trap. Probably like 113 lol...... damnit.

Thanks Osix,

Now that i have the slicks my interest for drag racing as taken a 180 degree turn. I am really looking forward to going back. I have the base model Z, so when i first started drag racing i had a 1 tire fire. Since then i swapped out the rearend to a LSD. And with that came the Wheel hop, so i did not enjoy the strip as much. Now with the slicks, the wheel hop is gone. Its fun again

Before this past weekend, it was a good 6 months since my last time at the drag strip. I was a little rusty im sure. Practice Practice

The "brake fuse mod" is the remedy. Open the drivers side kick panels and you will find the fuse box. Open the cover and find the brake light fuse. Remove it, and you can burn out however long you want.
