I have to admit you are one of the faster 350zs at qualcoom. The fastest I've ran N/A was 9.1 with a 2.1 60ft after messing around with the tire pressure all night. I did that run bracket racing and broke out since my dial in was 9.3. Last friday was my first time running this year I might go to irwindale tomorrow to see if I can get better times.
Your 8.9 run was against me don't feel bad Zs normally don't run fast there due to the crappy track prep and track. I think the only way to hook up there is with slicks and a long burnout.

Thanks for the words of encouragment...i say you spent so much money for the power why not finish it off with the proper rubber set up. I would hate to have all those people that go to watch these racing events not get a chance at seeing a F/I G show it's full potential

The point is my car ran slower on 91oct when I moved here. Gas and alt kills your times here in Cali unless you are pushing big power and/or a pro at launching.
Are you going on the 20th? I will be there early to practice launching before the crowd gets there.

the hell with the thread bro lol ...it will stay on topic for the most part. I've never seen an Fx with a JWTT. Feel free to post some pics
Ok, hope I don't get flamed too badly. Especially in this section of the forum.
Here's the engine bay at the Extreme Autofest in SD 2 weeks ago.

Here's what it looks like overall.

I probably should've just pm'd you. Hope you can make it out on the 28th.

How many hours away from San Diego is that? You know?
Damn that FX is so sweet...thats the perfect look for it. The silverstone look with black rims, chrome lip, window tint, and a turbo. Anyone who would flame you for posting such a sweet ride would be an idiot.

Thanks man.
Looks to be around 110miles from San Diego.
Here's the address if you want to map it. Auto Club Dragway 9300 Cherry Avenue Fontana, CA 92335 http://californiaspeedway.com/dragway/

run as in what ET's did you run in your FX?
I was too frustrated not being able to hook up with all that sand on the track so I mainly just watched. I don't have my car back yet so I probably will miss this time which is frustrating the hell out of me

I did 3 runs in the FX ran a 13.4 @ 102.45 a 13.32 @ 103.51 and a 13.38 @ 102.77
Here's the 1.9 60' slip.

Sucks you don't have your Z back yet. Everytime I drove or walked by your Z I was trying to see if anyone was around it so I could meet you. Never caught caucasiancoupe around the pits either.

Yeah the slip is from Cal Speedway in Fontana. 1/4 drag strip, that was my first time to a track since Carlsbad was still open. Not sure if the move to this side of the lot is a good thing or not.
I'll pm you some pics, not going to press my luck.

Damn i've been wanting to go to a 1/4 track for a while now. Would you say it's a good strip as far as prep and all that is concerned? MRTomcat just mentioned something about a lot of sand?

I'm a bad person to ask about track prep. Carlsbad was ghetto, only been to LACR a few times and never ran it. It was very very windy the day of the street legals. Crazy dust storms at times, which blew sand onto the track. Me in my heavy *** suv hooked up ok since I have a decent amount of weight in the back (didn't take my subwoofer box out), others like mrtomcat with a lot of horsepower and lighter weight set up were slipping around at times.
I think most will say it's the better track besides maybe Pomona to run, but not sure if they even let the public run Pomona.
