Default Calling jackie chan - drag wheel help

This dude in Daytona has a set of 245's M/T Drag Radials mounted on 15" rims. He used them on his 2001 Mustang GT vert. However, they are not mustang wheels, they are from a junk yard and he said they're nothing special. He said the circumference is the same and that the bolt pattern he believes are 5x4.5. He said they have 15 passes on them and ran a 13.9 stock. I assume if they worked on his 2001 GT, that they'll work on my '03 base Z. For $150, is this a good deal? Also, do you have any questions that maybe I should ask him. We're going to meet at OSW Fri. so I guess I could test fit them, but I really just wanted to drive my truck over there and pick them up.

Thanks-
Jay

well if you will be at OSW friday, find me there, i will be the one with a crazy Z with either really good time slips or pieces of my axles in my hands..

find out the back spacing on those rims if you can, thats the important part, or just find out what backspacing mustangs usually have to run to clear their brakes and go from there....

see ya friday!!

i would guess they would fit, what is the size of the sidewall? 15 passes and only 150 is cheap IMO.

They fit! The wheels are off a V6 Probe with Hoosier drag radials 245/60 R15. They're wider than I thought they'd be and are light as hell. They'll definitely be great for N/A but lets see how they do with a 100-150 shot! For those with a Base model, these rims have about 3/16 of clearance around the brake caliper. Original owner said he found them at a salvage yard for $10.

I'll post picks later.
