Default 60' times...

I went to the track for the first time..
my 60' times were 2.3 twice and 2.17/2.14..now from what im understanding the 60 makes are breaks you..
If i stay the same way nothing changed how do i reduce the 60' time?
is it all in practice or is there something i am missing

im sorry if i missed this on the search but i tried 3x and also went through just about every drag post...thanks for the help...

Would be nice to see time slips

60-foot time is important. Reducing 60-foot time by 1/10 second will drop your ET by several tenths. The same with mistakes at the staging pad: they will be magnified several times at the finish line. Since you ran a 2.3 and 2.14 60-foot time, you can see how much of a difference technique makes.

Depending on weather and staging pad preparation, 2.14 seconds may be the best that you are going to get.
