Default Vortech V2 with DW660cc-255walbro=no start

just got my car back from the shop on thursday and it was runing great until sat night/sunday morning.

the car just got the following work done to it.
3.12 pulley
660cc Dw injectors
255 walbro fuel pump
Uprev GT maf
Uprev tune.

so on sat night driving back home i noticed the car hipcuped while cruising on the freeway doing about 65mph. didnt think nothing of it, drove home perfect the rest of the way.

sunday morning i went to star the car and it cranked but it didnt start, tried it a couple more times and it finally started. i left it warming up for a few mins but it turned off by it self after a few mins.
tried to start it again but nothing.
i kept trying but it would just crank and not start.

i left it alone for about 4 hours then tried to start it again and after a few tries it stayed on.
i took it out for a spin after a few mins and it died a block from my house. tried many times to start it but no luck, had to push it back home and couldnt push it up the driveway by myself so its sitting in front of my house right now.

anyone else ever had a similar issue? im no expert but it seems to me like its its not getting enough fuel to start up.
i tried starting it pushing the gas pedal but nothing.
i do smell gas after trying to start it for a few times... idk what it could be..

Grab a code reader and post up the codes. If there are no codes/CEL, then I would suspect a fueling issue, or maybe MAF went bad. I've heard of GT MAF's failing quite frequently. If you have the stock MAF try swapping it out (don't drive it, just see if it runs).

I doubt that would cause it to not run. Unless it was post-MAF which would be obvious.

Yup...I had just installed my Vortech and had loosened one of the grounds but didn't tighten it; it started out as an intermittent issue but eventually it just died....right before the tow truck showed up I tightened up the ground and the car started up again...

In my case, it was one of the ground lugs in the front top of the engine cover....

considering thats the ground for the injectors and the coils, its not hard to believe your car didnt run

I played around with the grounding wires and yeap the car started! I found out that one of the bolts that hold down the grounding kit does not tigthen up enough to have the grounds make contact. The bolt is not stripped but the inside thread where it goes is.
How can i fix it? The grounding kit is very loose and the car turns off at the simplest move of it
Ill post pics later on to show which connection is the one loose

dont think washers will do it because the inner thread is pretty stripped.
looks like im gonna have to re-tap the hole.

get rid of those stupid grounding wires. i bet it screws right down

those bolts dont have many threads. u need a longer bolt if u wanna keep those wires.

Brilliant, OP's grounding kit was the source of major grounding issues. There's a good reason I will never run one of these kits.

They do nothing except clutter the engine bay. It doesnt matter if you remove 1 or all. You just need to properly ground the things that do stuff, like the coils and injectors.

I just groundend the wires one of the bolts that holds down the engine cover and it ran perfectly
my finder is pointing where the wires used to be connected.
