Good luck. With a 1.9 60' I think you could squeeze out a 12 second pass.

Also in regards to the trap speeds, whenever I run at MIR I cant trap higher than 102 no matter what I do. I always get my best ET there but my traps suck. At capitol i'm trapping 104 and 105 all day. Its weird.

Well at MIR I trap 105-106 and even get 107 sometimes. However at Cecil I pull off 106-107 and high 107s. It depends on the environment and the way the tracks are built. In my honest opinion the direction that MIR is placed in is disadvantageous. Most of the time from my experience there has been slight to strong head winds at MIR, sometimes the climate was better but I must say MIR does get you better E/Ts for some reason. I usually pull a lot better E/Ts at MIR. Well this all shows you that a track won't give you a definite definition of your driving skills and the power behind your wheels. I'm not encouraging street racing

I couldn't trap over 100 for some reason yesterday at MIR I only got in 2 runs.

13.9@99 using my shift points 7k and 13.9@97 shifting earlier as suggested from that link.

My 330 in the 1st run was 5.885 the 2nd was 5.811.

I did the 1-2 at 6600 but the 2-3 I did it at my usual 7k so I was losing power both runs had 2.035 60fts.

I would of gotten faster with more time definately. I might go to cecil to try it out this weekend.

which way would you come? I could meet you on the highway along the way. I live off 695. I'll bringthe camera.

The website says racing at 9 close at 4.

Franky last sat did they have any other events besides test n tune? I would like more than 2 runs for $30.

Have any of you guys weighed your car at MIR? My car is a PIG 3730 with me in the car and 3520 without.

AJ come out with the Z and the MAX.

LOL.....mine weighed 3130 at the Frederick Dump (closest scale)...in its current form.

They said there was very few people there last weekend.

I think I will probably leave Frederick around 8-830. I would take 70 to 695....so if you want to meet up thats cool with me.

Hey Mid-A folks.....I think perhaps we should start our own thread. We are kind of cluttering up a top 25 thread without really contributing. We should keep this for posting of PB (and discussions pertaining strictly to them) for this thread. It makes it more time consuming for the admin to wade through our pages of discussion in search of peoples PB's.

I'll start it now .

i say ur 60ft. is pretty bad and can be greatly improved...u should be able to pull 2.0's with the street tires and an occasional 1.9 maybe, i say maybe...with street tires before any boost i would preload the car and have the clutch out as far as possible and feather it out from 2700..a little spin is not a bad thing but any hopping is bad and excessive spinning of course..id rather have a slight spin than a bog it pulls better 60ft's..dont drive thru the water box go around and just spin the tires off a little before staging..no big burnouts, with that said ur mph is pretty good and should get u into mid 13's with a good launch..good luck keep at it and crack mid 13's and get into consistent 2.0 60ft. times and the rest will come

Like 90 percent of novice racers, 60 foot time is hurting ET. Get the first 60 feet down and the rest takes care of itself. You are driving a 13.6 second Z. Practice will get you there.

BTW 3hree5ive0ero may give you the #22 slot if you include required information with your time slip.
