Not sure because Smokey (Top Secret) never maxed it out when he tuned, so the only dyno readings i saw were 231whp, but i know its alittle higher than that.

Btw, what mods you have on your auto to get to 13.1 ?

 

OK, so I ran these 1/4 times tonight. The best one is 13.201 @ 106.68 with a 1.99 60'. I have an '07 Enth. 6MT. Using street tires (Nitto Invo's). No NOS, No FI, No Built motor. Just bolt-ons, 4.08 FD's, and a tune.

I will be running tomorrow on DR's so hopefully will be updating this tomorrow with better times.

 

Well, what was happening was that I wouldn't shift into 4th gear 'cause it was usually right at the line and I'd just ride 3rd gear out. I worked on my launches Sunday, before I was nervous and wouldn't stage properly because I didn't want to take to long. Sunday I pretty much said, "screw it" and took all the time I wanted staging. Where before I didn't know what rpm I was launching at, on these runs I know I was launching at 3k rpm each time with the drivetrain pre-loaded (if that's the right term). Launching at 3k rpm got me through 1st quicker, and left me enough time to switch to 4th gear and pick up the extra few mph.

At least that what I think happened. lol

 

At the time of that run I had an X02 Exhaust, Strup test pipes, Edge racing High stall torque convertor, K&N Drop in, MD 1/2 Spacer, DR's, weight reduction and I wasnt tuned yet untuned. The weather was perfect that day also. I recently dynoed 247 after my tune and wanted to compare with other tuned autos.

Jblz, your times are good, but the DA down there is going to make it difficult to improve. You should be able to get a high 12.90-low 13.0 on DR's given the same conditions though. As the heat builds down there you will get progressively slower unfortunately.

 

Thanks. My goal is to break 13.0. The track had a potential of rain tonight so I'm going to try the DR's next Thursday. I'm hoping to capitalize on one of the last cold fronts moving in. We'll see. Thanks for all you help.
