^^not a bad slip...what are u making for power? just curious as my stock axles have held up so far with 1.6 60ft's..knock on wood, which axles u gonna go with now?

 

my 3700 lb car was making 460 at the last dyno. i've cut a bunch of 1.7 and a 1.62 before on a less prep'ed track. dead hook and little preloading snapped those like twigs.

I still have another 1-2 mph in her and 1/2+s faster based on the 800 rpm bog in that run and 0.2-0.3s faster 60' Prolly just go with the DSS level 5's as the level 2's are barely rated more than my current setup.

 

yeah my highest is 116mph and i think thats all i have in her with my current setup, which im pretty happy with as its a miniaml setup and is holding up, knock on wood..i do pull consistent 1.6's though with my setup now if i want to, im just scared to break, i think i will upgrade my axles over winter time so i thought id ask what u are going with...

 

upgraded axles are very expensive, so I wouldnt bother changing them til/if they broke

 

New PB....almost in the 10s....run on MT DRs...same setup as before.

And I am. Went to the track today. This was my best run for the day. Maplegrove Raceway was rained out so we turned around and went to Beaver Springs Raceway. Track prep was ok. The DA was about 580'.

Again the car is a 2003 350z Performance model. It is a 6spd and i was running my drag radials.

Gives me a good idea to run off of......I would have been in the 8.35-8.39 area had no slippage happened on a 1.879 (went 8.48 at 79.8mph lol). I had the dr's re-sealed with sticky sealer today.......hopefully tomorrow will see a clean run. You are def coming off the line cleaner than me at this point. I am up on you about 1.5mph in the 1/8th (well.......usually). I'll take a 1.81...lol.

What was the weather like? Good work.

Tomorrow night here......35-45, ~50% humidity, 30.00+......perfect conditions. I seriously am going to slice someone if the car won't run up to snuff. It was pulling like a freight train tonight (that's all relative to the car of course) with no slip.

 

Yeah i was side stepping at 5800 rpms, I was kinda of scared of breaking something lol. BTW your car is def moving up to, unlike mine it falls of its face at 5700rpm, its so frustrating . I hope the sealer works for you. Def try taking off the sway next so I can confirm my results..
