03 Base full interior w/ leather seats minus spare
Engine/Drive-train: Stock block w/ 6MT rocking the factory clutch and VLSD
Turbo Kit: Out-the-box Turbonetics Tuner Kit(jetpilots old kit), 650 injectors and UTEC w/ 50 shot of nitrous.
Tires/Suspension: 18" 245's up front on racingharts w/ 275/60/15 ET Street Radials on 15X8 Weld Prostars. Intrax springs, stock shocks and factory spec rear camber.
Tuner: Jeremy @ Performance Factory
Mechanic: Me
Power Level: Dyno'd 40Xhp w/ NO2! Sounds low but I'm running factory B-pipe for exhaust and I think the nitrous shot is rated higher than it actually is.

96mph 1/8 trap out of your set-up is BEAST! Now you have me considering 27.7" DR's....congrats again, its been nice seeing you progress from mid 12's to 11.2-and with such "little" power, 10's in your future

Thing is with nitrous your peak power is at the lower rpm's and falls off as rpm's rise. When i dyno'd the nitrous the 356hp was at 4500 and fell to about 340 which isn't bad but the trq went from 417 to almost 300 at redline. The instant trq will get you a great 1/8 but traps suck!
This just shows how important the power curve is!
With my short shifter and quick feet, I was keeping my rpm's above 5300 so I was always near my peak power.
Alberto, yank those brembos and get you some of these! No sway at all with 245's up front. Your experience lately got me worried but at those speeds it was solid! I cut 1.5's with 18psi in the tires
My Brembo's get ragged as bad as my tranny believe it or not. Paint chipping from the extreme heat after 1 weekend of spirited driving-I wouldnt have it any other way
I am looking into the 16 X 27" (actual is 27.7") DR's though, I'll just pudge them on my 8" wide Welds. Powerband differences certainly come into play you can see it with the times.

nice work jay, this is a big accomplishment for ya for sure.
we will get the car back to the shop and get some larger numbers, hopefully you will be the first one in the states to go 10s on the stock block.
we almost had it with AJs gutted out setup with a lot more power than you...

Jay...good job on Sunday. It wasn't long ago we were seeing who would hit the 11's first and now we'll see who gets in the 10's first...and we can't forget about Shane either. See you at the track...
