Representing the 350z in pinks all out
Hi guys, just wanted to let everyone know that we got in and registered for the pinks all out race. It is going to take place in August. 400 car field, hopefully they pick our time class for the final 16. Would be awesome to finally see some fast imports on the show. Checked in on our local site here and some low 10 second toyotas( one supra 6 speed and one lexus with supra motor and th auto tranny) got registered as well. I am buddies with two of them they both ran in the mid to low tens last year and should be quicker this year. Keep you guys updated as it gets closer. Jason

Good luck. Hopefully there are a lot of cars in your time bracket so it can be chosen. There was a really fast civic hatchback on an older episode that actually got cut out because it ran too fast of the original time.

If you win what would you do with the 10k and the 7k NAPA tool box full of tools (as they say on Pinks)?

Long story short, we did not make it. The wed. before we dropped a valve. Pulled the heads on thursday and installed a set of maxima heads we had to try and make the show. Reassembled and car ran fine for a few heat cycles then broke a cam. This was at about 2am friday morning. We didn't have the parts or energy to tear it down and try to rebuild in time for saturday. I heard they didn't pick a 10 second class anyway so that at least makes us feel a little better. Jason

Jason...sorry to hear about the car problems.
In the video above, its pretty funny. The guy in the domestic does a pseudo burnout down half the track(why I don't know) and then backs up and finally stages. Julian waited patiently( in reality Julian was probably calling him every curse word known to man) and then Julian whoops his ***. I wonder if julian confronted him after the race

hmm.. i thought to be in the show pinks, you have to be 11sec+?
one of the shows i watched, a guy in a malibu ran 10.xx dont remember exactly, he won the race, but was disqualified.
i may be wrong it could have been 10sec + only tho..
