hmm well if the guy wasnt lying about his 12.3 sec run, then your clk 55 probably wont be able to hang with it.

unless youve done something with your car since your 13.0 run

GrayG35, you do realize that any and all street racing material isn't allowed on the forums, right? It has been that way for quite some time now. Don't make this mistake again, please.

BTW, those people are retarded (not only for street racing), but they try to get the jump by going "hooooooonk honk honk." <--- noobs who know they'll lose the race before it even starts

Well, since you just admitted to knowing the rules but breaking them anyway, your next violation will be extra long. I won't go back on my words (not punishing the first time around) this time.

BTW, corrected times don't mean **** (that's as bad as bench racing).

My friend with a bolton 300c Srt-8 which ran 12.5@114 not the best of conditions, I kept up way up top(2 cars). The 335i with chip and other mods do trap similar #s. Yes my stock Clk55 will keep up!

Where you the one with the Red Z? I was there at the track 9/3 Wed.. I have the Blue G35. I was wondering how you did on that day coz none of my friends saw your time, I guess your best was 13.7 that night? Pretty good time coz the 135i couldn't break 13's and only trapping 100mph... Chipped 335i was only doing 13.2@106mph.. I did 13.5@106mph but it was my first time so my shifting and launch need improvement. That was also with my heave 19's (Work VSXX).

why do you always have to be a jerk about things??? All you ever like to do is talk down on people. Get over yourself and keep your negative comments to yourself!

How am I a jerk? Because I decided to be nice and let you slide (even though you knew the rules, which have been effect for almost 2 years now, and even admitted to it)? I don't talk down on people. In fact, I do the opposite, by helping others out when I can with my experience and knowledge. Go find a post of mine when I was condescending.

Don't get butt hurt because I told you that fake times don't count for anything but bench racing. Maybe I should put in my sigs that I'm running low 12s. Or maybe you're mad because you were caught redhanded trying violating our TOU. Perhaps it was because I told you that because I let you this time, your rightful punishment will be slightly more to compensate (which is actually giving you a more of an incentive to not break the rules while allowing you to slide).

To the OP- I haven't really search the internet to see what the highly modded 335i's are putting down. What is the higher end of HP and TQ figures for those that have heavily modified their 335?

2 of my employees have BMW's (335i and 325i) and they are decent cars. I disagree on a few things you pointed out as strengths, but everyone has a different opinion. IMHO the interior on my touring Z is way nicer than that of the 335i. The controls feel cheap and the Nav is a joke. Once again, that's just my opinion. I have driven the 335i several times and it is very quick. IMO, quicker than a stock Z, but I haven't driven an HR Z, so that may make up the difference. It seems it would be a very close comparison.

I always notice you thinking that you are the best driver around or something. You think that nobody but youself can handle the "power" of a modded VQ. News Flash! these cars arent as fast as you may think. 300whp> is nothing the average person cant handle in a car that weighs this much.

Uh, I'm trying to look out for them, so they don't crash their car and whine about it here. Many people DO think they are the best driver around. I've been in a car with race drivers and I know my place. Plus, there are so little nitrous guys on this forum that I want them to do as well as possible. Same thing with drag racers. I want them to be able to do their best in N/A form first, before moving up in power levels. That way, they learn as much as possible through trial and error.

You don't see me going to the other parts of the FI sub-forum asking the same thing, do you? According to your logic, I should be over there, but I'm not. News flash! You drive an auto G and you post about a fake time. It still seems like you're butt hurt I called you out on your fake time.

Also, I know there are plenty of others who are better drivers than I am. I do know I'm better than you, though.

Ok just talk about people over the net that you dont even know the first thing about. Im not gonna sink down to your ignorant level of life and continue to argue with a person like yourself. Just go about your way of b*tching on the internet all day trying to be some sort or internet police man.

The only bad thing I said about you was that I'm better than you (with regards to drag racing), but ok. Whatever floats your boat, buddy.

Just to clarify (for myself ) I don't DISAGREE with the stance the board has taken here or for enforcing their decision to prevent that stuff on the board.

It's kind of nice and the board lacks the bs that I normally see in the racing sections. I just don't enjoy the preaching that normally comes along with it. Though this was a don't ask, don't tell kind of thing.
