What tires are you running now?
What 60 foot times are you getting?
Lets see some time slips.

Hoosier Quick Time Pro's are the best but they only fit on 15" rims.

Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one.

You will get some guys speaking from experience, others from what they read, others who have DR's and cant launch right telling you to use something else.

Ive run MT ET streets, from NA to built TT, and never had a problem hooking up. They now make them in 17" sizes. 1.67 60ft is my best so far and Im not anywhere near getting the full potential out of the hole on LOW boost. GREAT tires, I wouldnt even try something else these have worked so good for me.

You need to elaborate on what your set-up is and if you are able and willing to take tires with you and change them at the track. Making assumptions and knowing nothing else, I'll suggest a 275/40/17 MT ET Street Radial: http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...ETStreetRadial

I had MT Drag Radials on my Camaro
From experience they hooked like crazy and lasted a pretty good amount of time. 1.53 60' time (best) My other friend has then on his 11 second Camaro and has no problems hookin either 1.7's consistent. With the mods you have I think it will be a great option.
Good luck, and let us know what you end up getting

Alberto are those the ET street radials or the bias ply? And you kept your stock street tire radials for the front, correct? The ET street radials now come in an 18" size 305/35/18 and I was thinking about picking up another pair of NT03+M rims w/ those tires (and running Mich PS2 summer tires 235/40/18 up front). Didn't want to mix radial and bias ply...

Thats what happened to me on the 10.5" wide tires, they were only as wide as my fronts which are 255's. That wasnt a good combo lol. In all honesty for these speeds, my current 11.5"/255 front isnt either, I should look into skinnies with bias ply fronts, but it wont be as much of a "challenege" for me then. I'll only resort to running my stock 8" wide front as opposed to my current 9.5". Fine tuning my EDFC on the street with the slicks also helped. Def hard to control, but MUCH less scarier than last time. That 2nd run I dont think I blinked or took a breath it was over so fast!
+1 it was the front tire width.

Bias ply! I run radials up front. MT tech even told me 130mph traps you can still run bias/radial just keep it straight! Once I square the suspension back up it should be no more WOT = go left pull. But thats not on my priority list.

Calm down in calling somebody out that actually races their Z and know whats going on before you make yourself look stupid. First video = 1.67 60ft, yeah no traction Second video was me running a 27" NEW (not heated enough) tall slick and 1" narrower rear tire, that isnt advised when running a WIDER front radial-lesson learned. The car pulls like crazy due to the suspension not being squared-but your a tool and dont know what that means or how that affects the car. Its not because of the tires in the back. You always think you know it all and dont even have one pass in your Z. Ive run from stock, bolt-ons, ST and now TT and set records (for the time) in all categories, WTF have you done other than be a keyboard warrior? Do yourself a favor go back and search the thread and read why its happening before just posting 2 vids and assuming Im giving BS reccommendations

edit-thank you Jon and kemp for actually knowing whats going on...

Yea because I have had many issues stopping me from going to the track from personal family tradegy, to a clutch issues on the 07 to weather and time. I have ran my G35s many times, and I also road race more than I do boring 1/4 racing. And I am scheduled to go on the 28th of this month.

I use to be in the 1/4 thing when I owned a 99 TransAm and V8 powered cars. Running 10s was fun, and never had a issue like you are.

Why not MT ET Street radial in the back too? Just haven't tried it or have you specifically avoided it for a reason? Trying to keep my car in one piece as I gain more seat time with this level of power.

Thanks.

Mistake #1 "Toyo T1RS"
Mistake #2 "19""
I'll assume mistake #3 "275/35/19 rear"

Wheel hop was from the small and stiff sidewall as well as tight suspension. Having compared the T1RS tires to many others, I'll summarize by saying they suck for all applications, IMHO.

As you probably know, it's actually quite common. What's a little wiggle at 130?!?

Thanks.
I like the 26 X 11/5" ET Streets too much. The 27 X 10.5" didnt work out for me.
