I agree, but they are not getting traction. One of the guys has 415rwhp, but he has stock wheels and tires. he lost it hitting second gear once. A whole 360 and then turned a 19.00. If you don't have traction it is not going to happen. If I had F/I I would have some big azz sticky tires on there, but those Z's don't belong to me.

 

yea...I really don't understand some of the guys on here. Why FI your car if you can't afford some traction??

I'm installing an APS TT kit next week and will be running DRs on the street and E.T. streets at the track...traction shouldn't be a problem.

 

ATI Procharger is in my town. A year ago I watched their silver SC'd run 13.3-13.4@107mph on some 19" rims with 330whp. 60 foots weren't stellar. 2.0-2.1 mostly. It's about 1 second quicker and 7-9mph faster than the stock 350Z 6MT/autos at my track. I'm sure with slicks it could have gone 12.8s at least. Last I heard it has about 380whp and was sold.

 

When I bought my 02 Trans Am with 1200 mi on it I ran 8.45 1/8 and 13.13 1/4 with 374 rwhp it went 7.60 1/8 No good 1/4 mi runs it rained both times I went... If I had a Z with 350ish rwhp Id be pissed if It wasnt in the 7's 1/8

 

I ran a 14.44 at 98.89...i was kinda angry cause i wanted to get into the hundred MPH club and get a cool little sticker n my window. My only problem was i couldnt launch very good but now since i have had my car for awhile im starting to get it down so hopefully i can get a better trap speed

These are my best two runs. 13.84 is my best time, 102.75 is my fastest speed.
Someone explain to me how i can run 1 mph faster on one run and get slower times all the way around? Bad traction?

 

In some cases a little wheel spin will cause your net traps to be slightly higher, which in this case looks like what happened.

 

Long story...but it will FINALLY be done next week.
