Elbe,

if you think about it long and hard you realize that the statements I made are not contradictory.

no arguing, just a healthy debate.

My brother has the tape and we have not yet put it on a computer, but I am hoping to have that done and online tonight.

doesnt really matter...you will have a vid of a car that cut a 1.560' and ran a 13.6 , so when you run a REAL 13.6 car you will see taillights everytime...

Default 60 FT Time

Thought I'd jump in too!!! My best 60 is a 1.61 on "MT Slicks" and a ZEX 200 shot! I can always tell if my 60 ft was in the 1.6's because I get a " nose bleed "! Did you ?

I can't see a 1.5 60' time in a stock vehicle, I can see the timer being messed up on that run, but with a 2K launch on stock tires, I could see if there were several back to back runs like that. My drag car has 5.13 gears 660+rwhp and a 5500 stall convertor and I cut low 1.3's and high 1.2's, I just don't see it

10/22/03
Reac. : .986 (dont ask)
60 foot : 1.89
1/4 : 12.8
Speed : 107.0MPH

Engine Mods: Grounding Kit
Injen CAI
NGK copper plugs
100 Wet Shot NX (but i only sprayed from 2nd gear on)
M/T ET Street 26x10.5x16 (useless at 45 degrees)

45 degree weather...terrible for traction and my 60 foot shows that. i've gotten a 1.95 60 foot on stock tires, so theres definately room for improvment there. its gonna have to wait til next summer.
by then ill have upped the shot to 150 possibly 200. maybe headers, and i have the test pipes on order. oh and lets not forget tinting the windows (good for 3-4hp).

i do have a goal, so this will stop when i reach it, and blowing the engine isnt one of them.
peace

once i get my wideband installed and my greddy front mount, i will try again.. i will probably get a higher stall converter before i run again also...

the above time was with boost problems.. i've fixed it and all i will say is i now have trap speeds in the 116-118 range i still get shitty 60 fts..but i am going a bit faster than 13.0's now jay
