Default Broke my transmission.

I got Welp... Here was the line up...

Got a PERFECT fawking launch on this guy in the Mustang (v8) Hooked up perfectly... perfect bang from 1st to 2nd...

then when I went to put it into 3rd all I could hear was GKHGKHGGHHGHGKGKKKGKKKKCKKCHHCKKCKCKKCKKCKCCHHHHHK
I hardly ever miss a gear and knew it wasn't me just grinding the fawk out of it. I eased into 4th gear.. limped around the back lane and took the car out for a drive YEP 3rd gear is gone. Bye bye... c ya later- peace out gone.

So I drove the bucket to the Nissan dealership that's about a mile from the track, and dropped it off. Thank god I know them there and they're replacing the transmission under warranty.

sucks to hear that you broke it...good to see that the dealership is hooking you up with a new one at no cost to you.

lol granny shiftin, not double clutching like i should. It's a wonder I didn't blow the welds off the intake.
The dealership knows that i was at the track, actually I called the owners son from the track- but since the tranny's all stock and there's no aftermarket clutch they're gonna take care of it for me. Thankfully.. I have REALLY REALLY good friends.

Wow, I'm really surprised you broke 3rd gear NA. Really surprised. That sucks but at least you've got the hook up on a new one.

You wouldn't say that if you knew her lol. That car has prolly seen more passes down the drag strip than 99.9% of the nismos out there.

Haven't been having much luck with your car lately to that dealership replacing it under warranty.

Wow this is surprising. I thought the tranny could take anything at stock power levels.

Nismo looks sweet!

The newer ones still have the CD009, yes?

I'm on my 3rd one, but no problems yet. I asked for CD009, but they gave me CD007. It's working fine, though, so no complaints.

Racing it or not, if you spent that much money on the Nismo Edition Z, I would hope that they would fix your transmission. Im not saying that they always will, and it worked out that you know them, but seriously, they just should.

+1, what was you 60'?
