depends on the kit and tune, stock C5's actually trap higher than I do, but yea I would hope an FI Z could beat a stock C5 C5 z06 is a different story though..

and why the hell would you bring Alberto into this???? that doesnt even make any sense, BTW I have cruised with him, and I have seen what his car can do, its on a completely different level

and when I ran that Z I had 2 bolt ons.. and no tune ( we have an ongoing rivalry)

Alberto vs. Zain wouldn't be fair. If we could drop a fully built crate engine in Zain's car with a supercharger, supporting mods, built trans / tq converter and finally a good set of slicks. It would be an interesting race to watch.

Zain and I at least had about the same power levels making it a driver's race. Since I was granny shifting and not double clutching like I should...the car was coming out of boost between shifts and slowing me down.

hah yea man, Mason is a bit easier for me since I would be driving down from Pitt, but we should try and set something up, plus I was not a huge fan of capitol, and they done let me use my current helmet

anyway I am in town this week , maybe we can get a D&B meet going on thursday depending on the weather...

On a sidenote Bert I hope you still dont mind me using your slicks, I'm thinking of making another trip to the track before it gets too cold to run and I wont accept anything higher than a 12.XX this time.

How is the LT1 something to laugh at? People always seem to forget it was designed in the late 80's and YET still LT1 powered f-bodies easily pull 99-101mph traps speeds bone stock. In the 90's.. The LT1 was unstoppable and beat up on every import out there until the LS1 was released.

 

on the going to the track. A person wouldn't say low or high as describing his/her time. They would know the exact time by heart.
