Talking PIX/Vidz of my best runs tonight at Moroso (Palm Beach International Raceway)!!

Went out to test the new tune (thankx Roger@Japtrix) and wheels (thankx CoachK)! Good news is I broke the 11's, but bad news is i still need improvement on the 60 foot. I couldnt for the life of me do a burn out and get the tires nice and sticky, but i did ok. A lil tire spinning here and there, but def an improvement from last week. I got it down to consistently hit 11.8's at 117 to 118mph. I did about 14 runs so i mixed it up trying to find and fix the flaws in my driving. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Heres some of the funniest races though. Not my best runs but fun.. The Z06 caught me sleeping at the light..

And my favorite: the grudge match. We ran last week and i spun all the way to 3rd! now the rematch!!

Good job Paco....Just work on the launch and get it down in the 1.7 range and everything else looked good. You need a good 10-15 second burnout to get them sticky.

I just cant get the burnout in.. All the runs were with a quick split second tire spin before the run... Can someone pls help me out on how to do a standing burnout in a manual Z...? everytime i do it, the car bogs down and shuts off. I can do it all day in my integra, brothers mustang, and even in my old 300zx, but i just cant get it in the 350z...

Yup pull the brake light fuse....these cars computers freak out when you are on the gas and brake at same time. Its the same reason you can't brake boost from a roll without changing some things.

thnx for the advice/tips guys... I will def do that and get the tires nice/sticky for my next runs.. i still have yet to put together a great run. Im usually not shifting at right times and sometimes too early. Im currently launching about 3300 rpms, but with heated tires im hoping to take it up to 4000rpms...

BC BR-type coilovers ( i havent messed with the settings yet to take advantage of the 30-way adjustablility for a track setup)! Everything else is stock... you need to invest in some better tires.. My only regret is i waited this long to get some DR's, but CoachK hooked me up...

thankx everyone for the kind words. Alot of my new success has to do with Japtrix for the install of the dp's/open dumps and Roger @ Japtrix for the re-tune of the car and Coachk for the driving advice and hooking me up with some wheels/tires!! Now with the advice given to me for a burnout i expect faster times and better vidz... thnkx guys...
