Default went to the track last night....

Well I got my Z down to the dragstrip last night for the first time this year... I opted not to spray... Needless to say I went home pretty happy all things considered... I ran it 3 times... First run was a 14.2@104 with a horrible 2.7 sixty foot... second run was a 13.9@103 with a 2.5 sixty ft... and the last run of the night I got in a 13.7@105 with a 2.4 sixty ft... my sixty foot times were horrible, this track is super slick... Just nice to think of what my basically stock Z would be able to do with a 1.8 or so 60...
mods are test pipes and plenum spacer

Interesting how some of our fastest naturally aspirated 350Zs are on the bottle but the bottle is OFF.

Gotta say I find 105 traps pretty unlikely with your mods. Care to provide some slips?

I believe you.

Its just a pet peeve of mine that nitrous racers can post times slips calling some forced-induction and others naturally aspirated.

If my car only trapped 105 with the 100 jets I have in I'd probably throw myself off a bridge... Lol I'm going to a better track next weekend so ill provide video evidence.. As for nitrous cars being faster na I have heard nitrous helps seat the rings better

Your car just makes good power I guess, would like to see the slip.

Bone stock with a 2.1 60' I got that 13.8 @ 101. I also have a 2006, enthusiast. I just wish I could pick up 4 mph more, that's a healthy amount.

well... I don't know how you treat your car at the track but I'm pretty brutal to it, not gonna lie...I'm really not sure what has changed, last year the same exact mods my car ran 13.9@103.

I could care less what your car or anyone elses runs personally... Learn to shift better or something... Not every car is the same bud...
track conditions and temp play a factor too... it was 45 degrees out friday night here

I just don't see it.....most of us with full bolt-ons and tune (260-270whp) don't hit 105 (there are a very few who have that have verified), so I guess that is why there is the skepticism. Also I stay in the 2.0-2.1 60' on street tires. My best mph is 103.1 on an uprev base map. It could always be a freak car, but I'm just not buying it w/ only intake and test-pipes.

P.S I hope you prove me wrong.

It can happen. I trapped 105 last week and 104 this week in my n/a automatic.

I think that combo of mods are the best. It looks like your making good power and with a good 60' you'll be running some really good times. Good job man.
