I was the other Z there.....my car was all over the place. It was the last time I will be on streets for sure. I was all over the time spectrum.... (1) 14.4 ouch, (2) 14.2 double ouch, (1) 14.000 triple ouch, (3) 13.9, (2) 13.8, and (1) 13.65 on the last run. I don't know why but the car is down on power.........two weeks ago it was trapping 105-106 and I was in the 101 area all night except for the last run which was 102.76.

Both runs last week (time limited) were 13.6's, but it seemed like every time I staged........traction had changed......especially in the left lane. It didn't help that every time I was the next car to stage something broke right in front of me. I will be there next weekend on weld's and MT DR's. If it is down on mph again I will start to worry, but i'll hold off until then.

 

I ran a like three 14.0's which started to frustrate me. My dad was the one running 14.1's and 14.2's. I ran that one 13.8 at 98 with a 1.8 60ft. I just hope its a vacum leak because ive never trapped that low. The rest of the 60ft's where 1.9's just didnt have nothing to pull thru on the top end. Im thinking about going to get the Osiris tune from Function Tuned. Are you happy with it?

In case you were wondering the DA for last Fri was 1850ft, which has some effect.

 

I have an intake, XO2 exhaust with custom magnaflow midpipe, AAM HFC's, AAM Spacer, And AAM reflash which really didnt do anything. I also have a stage 2 clutch from JWT. I was gonna get the 3" MAF if I get the Osiris.

 

I run the 3" maf on my car and it was the biggest gaining mod I did power wise. Are you planning on going to the test and tune next sun?

Yeah I wouldnt worry about the trap speeds just yet. I ran in an event at capitol once and when ever I was in the left lane I would run 13.5@102 but in the right lane I'd run 13.8@104. It did it consistantly all day. Very weird.

 

I might have missed it but are you on DR's? Also whats the highest you've trapped?

Nope. Its got a major oil leak so we have to break it all back down again. I think we forgot to install a gasket behind the timing covers FTL. We should have the motor out before friday if the weather permits.

The max with the swap is my gf's. I have one to with different mods.

 

Ive got 275 50 15's BFG drag radials with weld pro stars. With these on ive trapped 101. Ive never trapped high due to haveing little power. I just started getting the drag radials figured out. I went 8.55@80 in the 1/8th a week before. That 13.8@98 pass the other night was a 8.88@76 1/8th with a 1.8 60ft.

 

Ohhh I got mixed up. It doesn't look like capital has any test & tunes on sat or sun for a while. I can't make it down on a fri night and make it worth while. I wouldn't be able to get there until at least 7.

 

I might come up on sunday and check you guys out. How much to spectate? I just moved to MD and I will be bringing my G up from N.C in a couple of weeks.

03350 myself and Ghazlet from driver are getting retuned for our 3in mafs on the 26th.

Hoping to get over 250-255 on his dyno since I pulled 243 with heavy a** 20s with the 18s on it should be better along with it being cooler
