Once again my car surprised me with an unexpected time. As most of you know I am running a 75 shot of nitrous now and my previous best was a 12.5@109 1.89 '60 on my DR's over the summer. Saturday the DA was -1300 and Denchan350GT let me hold his slicks which were hooking good all day for me. I ended up running a best of 12.055@112 1.64 '60. On the 12.0 run I sprayed right out of the hole for the first time. Usually I'll wait a little then hit it. That 1.64 felt CRAZY! I had time to run one more time to see if I could crack 11's but I forgot to activate the system FTL and ended up running a 13.2. My mods are strup test pipes, X02 exhaust, Stock airbox with filter removed, 3 inch MAF, N/A osirus tune, 3200 edge racing torque convertor, 1/2 inch MD spacer and 75 shot NX kit. I wonder if anyone else has run that fast with the stock airbox. Other N20 runs were 12.3@112 and 12.2@112. My fastest N/A run was 13.2 and highest N/A trap was 106.












The red Corvette in most of the videos was C5_vette. He had trouble hooking almost everytime we ran.

Thanks man. I guess I should go ahead and do that haha. Im real tempted to go next week and try to break 11's. I have 100 shot jets laying around but dont want to use them until I dyno the car.

LMAO I'm usually the one saying push it till you break it but now that I'm so close to 11's breaking things can actually happen now. Not to mention I'm on an N/A tune, stock plugs and 1.64 60's arent good on my axles. I sound like the high HP guys now LOL.

 

In all honesty you have a real shot of breaking the overall top 25 if you put in the 100 and go next weekend.....you probably won't get the weather to do it until this time next season. Lately March around here...when the tracks open....has been fairly warm.

 

I know Ive been thinking about that alot. The thought of not knowing what my A/F looks like is kinda scary to me. Im ok with the 75 shot but upping the shot could be just enough for something to happen.

 

Lets put it on Charm City's dyno Thursday night. Only take a minute to pull a bit of timing and swap the jets.

 

I would but I dont want to dyno my car at that shop because of my weekend activities. My car is still a mystery to the locals and one dyno there and the whole city would know my setup.

LOL she was having a good time. Thanks hopefully more people will come out. Its not very often you can line up with who ever you want without renting the track out.

 

Old member and friend of mine Integrity ran 12.0 @ 113mph on 100 shot on my slicks at Cecil.

He forgot to switch to the N20 map though so he did it on a cold day and the NA tune. Good thing I convinced him to run race gas to help with any detonation, if you did the same you would be 11's if you could hook again.

 

If you are going this weekend let me know. I will be out of town this weekend I can bring the slicks to your house tomorrow night.

Also they sell race gas at Cecil put in 2-3 gallons on a almost empty tank to be safe if you up the jets.

I wish my bottle was filled last weekend.
