Default PBIR drag racing 6-1-11

First time at the track with the car with any actual mods.

Wasn't my quickest pass of the night, but it was the quickest that got filmed.

Best of the night was 13.11 @ 112
The vid shows a 13.20 pass.

Those runs were with a 2.15ish 60'. I got down to a best of 2.05 later on, but I wasn't going 100% at that point. Was getting yelled at about not having a helmet to be running 13's lol.

Yeah, car felt dead on bottle though. Best of 13.56 @ 104 on motor only. Car is all stock, just a Cobb with my own tune.

Nice light you cut there. That allowed you to win the race even though the evo ran a better time.

Was it the guy giving out the time slips? The hillbilly looking guy with one tooth?

Haha, I raced an evo last night as well - same generation. He ran a 13.0XX, but the evo I raced got a 1.8XX 60ft. Nice runs!

Will do. It will be a bit, I don't wanna go back until it cools down a bit, this super hot and humid weather is so hard to run good times in. And i'd like to have some real tires for the car too.

Actually now is a good time of year to go and practice launching and shifts. There usually arent many people there but the downside is you wont get any good times.

I know, I got to run the car about 12 times and they shut down at 11. Shifting isn't a problem, the launching i found is better in the right lane but I was limited by a combo of street tires and a stock clutch, only so much I can do without being straight up abusive.
