Disappointing Track Results
And really though, NED sucks. The track was sooo slippery last time I went. I realize its all about the launch and shifting and blah blah blah. But when you are going sideways at 90mph when shifting into 4th, Im sure thats a good indicator of track conditions and not a bad driver.
I typically try and make it there for the first run of the night. You gotta go ***** out on the first or second pass, because after that, everything goes down hill. Going on a Saturday during the day is much much better then going on a Wednesday or Friday night.

Something does seem off. The slowest my 07 ran was during 100 degree weather at the slowest track in Georgia, but still managed a 13.5 during the best pass. That track, Atlanta Dragway, is known for being one of the slowest in the SE, and it's about 3/10ths slower than the others I run at, with a stock car.
Maybe the tune is off for your car, and you are getting KR. I had a 97 Maxima suddenly start running slow, after going low 14's with just 3 bolt ons. Turned out my flex pipe had collapsed on the inside and the opening was about the size of a pea. If it's not driving, look into the mods and tune.

I had an 07 like you and definitely struggled with launching at first. Before I was able to get more consistent saw times ranging from 14.9-13.2 with traps from 99-108. My 108 came when I was able to get a 1.8 60 ft. The launch absolutely can make a big difference in trap but I would suspect there are other factors contributing to the issue.
I also had a reflash and surprisingly I ran about a 10th faster when shifting to 4th than the times I stayed in 3rd. My guess is it had to do with the HP/TQ curves in that high of an rpm range. If you look at your dyno graph my bet is that it drops off dramatically after 6800-7000. So with the exception of the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts it probably isnt benefitting your times(possibly hurting them) to rev that high and stay in 3rd gear. Just my experience with the HR at the track... Hope it helps.

265 whp should be low 13's like 13.2, but just probably need more practice in your z. How's you're launching had alot issue with this in my z.
i'm doing 13.4 only 251 whp (btw crossing the line in 5th)

These Maryland guys shouldn't count with the times that come from that region lmao. I swear that is the optimal place to drag race in this country. When I had my 06 civic SI all the Maryland guys were trapping 2-4mph higher on average. All the DE's running HR times are from that region, I think there is something to that LOL.

So if you came here with the above conditions and ran your best you wouldn't claim it? I've ran my car in Ca and over there it's a low 14sec car, but socal will never see negative DA or run in 40* weather.
I attribute it to practice, good air, near sea level tracks, and multiple tracks. If the MD guys went to NJ they would be even faster due to the tracks being at sea level. MD also has at least 3 tracks within 75 miles of each other open 2-3 times per week which means more seat time if you wanted it.

I just bought my Z and have Headers,Exhaust,Intake,Pulleys,Stage 1 Clutch kit. I went to a dyno meet last week and got 272.9HP 264.5ft-lbs....What should i be running at the 1/4 mile???
Side note: No intake spacer and stock ecu.

too many variables, everyone thinks they can drive
should be 12's id guess high 13's...
