Default track today

This was my first run today I ran immediately after I got to the track after driving 50miles to get there. This was the first time with drag radials at the track launced at 3.5k and bogged off the line. Second run tried 4.5k and blew my passenger side axel apart .

About 450whp?

Thats judging by the trap, the ET obviously has room to improve at that trap.

Good show first time out!

Trap can DEF go up. 490 on a DD I trapped 126mph letting off slightly.

But hold your head up, 11's first time out on a new setup, new tires, you will get there.

Very well done! Keep going to the track. Anytime you go and can drive the car home is a good day for the FI guys!!

instead of dumping it from the bottom out, I'm gonna try some different launches next Sunday while I still have these tires n a spare axle...

Switch to bias plies and kiss wheel hop and busted axles goodbye. I'll never look back since switching.

PS might wanna check your diff bushing.

I love Bias Ply tires. People dont get it but a sick launch on a set of slicks is like "delicate violence" lol....

I'll take RWD + slicks > AWD anyday

On the bias ply do you get speed wobble at the track

I get a little rear end drift if I don't heat them up enough or the track is very poorly prepped. After a good smoky 2nd gear burnout and correct pressure they are very stable. Even M/T themselves recommend bias ply for 6MT and radials for autos only.

Too many variables. Some people can trap 130mph with radials up front no wobble, others cannot. It all depends on alignment, suspension and width difference between front and rear tires on a /radial/bias ply setup.

My TN setup barely wobbled, now my car does so badly. To be honest I haven't re-aligned it to see if it would help.

The ultimate solution is skinny's (preferably bias ply as well) up front. But like I said the hotter I get them the less issues I've had, and it's no bad enough to warrant changing the fronts. Alignment is critical IMO.

Disclaimer: I've felt the same wobble on DR's especially when they start wearing down.
