I wouldnt waste my time on street tires at that power but thats just me. Drag racing is not easy, people who try to $hit on it, cant fawking do it.

You could easily be high 10's with a decent short time.

Well Im stuck with these tires until after ZDAYZ and I can buy a wheel tire combo for the track exclusively.

Thinking some WELDs and Slicks.

No need to bling out a drag setup; I get by with a pair of old RX7 FD wheels and 26" ET Streets. Drag racing a boosted car on street tires does harm than good to your driving habits and axles. It's fun because it's new to you. But it gets old real quick .

I dont think they do, I know there are 2 versions of that wheel, I dont recall if they clear, perhaps only 1 clears or with minimal machining they would? Others hopefully will chime in.

I havent looked for slicks in a while, but any 17" slicks (if available) even on stock 17's would work.

Mine clear with a 5mm spacer. They actually fit without the spacer but it is too close for comfort. There were 2 revisions, mine are the older ones but I don't think it makes any difference in terms of clearances.

You'll do just fine at the airstrip - all rolling runs. Sorry if I missed it, but what street tires are you running?

It looks like I am going to pick up a set of Enkei RPF-1 17x9" +38 offset & MT 17" 28x10 slicks.

I am going to purchase a few things before I go back to the track, new clutch line, possibly a new clutch have hal set the 2 step for what I need.
