Some parts have bigger impact than others. But your times are looking good, I hope you have a helmet! A LSD will help quite a bit, are you keeping stock gears?

I do a lot of highway driving, I don't see gears benefiting much...if anything I would loose more traction

All season tires? That's pretty meaty, is that what stock came with? I always fealt the z was way under tired from the factory...but I have an 03, and it had cheepo tires on it when I got it. I think they where like 205...but that couldn't be right. I've always considered getting a set of enkeis with some sticky tires for drag. But I don't live by a drag strip anymore.
You wouldn't happen to know your elevation would you? It seems silly but elevation can add a bunch of time, and your rt and 60 seems good. Same as or be tter than what I was averaging if I remember correctly. But that was after 6 or 7 times of going that I could consistently get in the high 13s, with less tires and no exhuast...but it was at like 300ft sea level with no LSD. It was the 3rd time I went I got kicked off for no helmet :/

I would focus on your reaction time too - try to get that down to a 1/10th of a second. I would also do a handful of runs with traction control on and traction control off. I'm a firm believer of keeping it on - I'm pretty good at noticing wheel spin but not nearly as good as the ECU - many (if not most) will disagree with me - nor do I have more than a few dozen runs at a strip - but do what's best and what works for you.

^agree with above, see what works for you. You have a revup right? Would you happen to have a dyno? Or try expirementing with shifting a bit higher? I seemed to get good results shifting at redline.

reaction time isn't your problem (it doesn't affect ET anyway), you need to work on your 60' time.

Should definitely be doing better in my opinion, esp considering you're modded. Your Trap speed shows that the car is underpowered or you aren't extracting all of it during your run.
Things that will benefit you are, an LSD or even a VLSD out of a Z that came with it if you don't wanna spend much, better tires and of course seat time.
Dont worry about reaction time, it doesn't make a difference in your E.T.
Good luck, post back with results.

Dealing with traction is priority. If you're set on going with an LSD then good, if not then pick up a used VLSD. Radials will yield the best improvement, probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have an extra set of axles if you go that route. Or go with a more sticky street tire.

Don't worry about Reaction Time right now, you will work on that later after you get some Seat Time.

A VLSD works fine for drag racing, I've cut a 1.600 60ft with a VLDS and Slicks.

If you have to drive your car to the drags, get MT ET Streets (Best Choice) MT Street Radials (second Choice). Radials work better on an Automatic car, Shifts are Very Harsh when used on a Stick Shift Car. The ET Street is Bias Tire and they work best with a Stick Shift, some people have had them get a little squarely on the top end when radials are used up front, but not everyone. If you can trailer the car get MT ET Drag Slicks.
