just curious if anyone has been crazy enough to try this but after a few mods and reflashing the ECU whats the best max speed you guys have acomplished? by the way i wouldn't be surprised if there were no times as this is a dangerous thing to try and very few places where you can try this....

The Ford GT does 200mph.....I doubt hardly anyone here is close to that capability.

154 on Highway 58 between Bakersfield and Barstow. It was taking way too long to climb up to the limiter at 156 so I chickened out at 154. This was when my Z was stock though.

That wasn't the point. He said that 170-180 was Viper and GT territory when clearly it isn't.

 

I hit my limiter twice in a stock 2003 touring 6mt. 6th still pulls at that point, I am sure completely stock (without the limiter) it could easily hit 160 or so... and I don't mean going down hill for 12 miles, it is pretty quick to 155/156 whatever.
