any g35 coupe drifters?
I did do a search but couldn't find anything on this, even google search.
I know it's one fat cow, but anyone have suggestions on suspension and wheel setup to start out with for a 6mt g coupe?
I was going to go with tein flex's with edfc and go back to some stock 18's or 17's, which ever will fit over the brembos.
What front and rear specs did you adjust the suspension to? (height, damping)

When corner weighting my friends G35 Coupe next to my Track Z33 on the same scales, his car was only 185lbs heavier. He did have less very little gas, and mine was nearly full though...
Also look out for Calvin Wan driving the Falken Tire sponsored G35 Coupe in upcoming Formula D drift events this coming season! He brought it out last week at the Falken Drift Showoff and it looked good!

So that's who g35 that was at the Sema show. I saw pix. Thanks, that name brought me to some local CA bay area drift forums. I can get more info from there.
THANKS!

thanks chops, but I meant the G with the "2" on the rear passenger window. Those don't look like 350z rims to me.

19" BBS RG-R's with black diamond finish
front 8.5" rim with 245/35/19's +16mm offset
rear 9.5" rim with 275/35/19's +23mm offset
tires - Bridgestone Potenza SO3's
The tires were almost to the end of their tread life, so thats why I decided to give the drift thing a try. I definately could have used a cheaper/harder tire.
I should have put my stockers back on, oh well live and learn.
lol sweet! I didn't want to assume it was you.
Nice, I'm running S03's too. 285/30/20 rear and 245/35/20 front.
Does it feel like your sliding on butter with those s03's? I miss my stocks.
on suspension are you just using springs?

The only suspension mod is the eibach pro kit. I do have plans for sways in the very near future.
I'm still searching for my next tire. I may go with the new BFG's, I've heard they are really sticky.
ps, I only got about 8k out of my SO3's.
btw, I blew my free web space out this month. Dumb me hosted a video. Pics & sig should be back at the 1st of the month.
The silent butter feeling taught me how to not depend on the squeeling to control my drifts. It feels really cool in a way, but I just really miss the noise. I don't mean the horrible road noise from unbalanced S03's either. It's like playing a fighting game and not hearing the punches.
waddup Mike! yea I saw pictures of that tein g35. From what I heard he's a local here in CA bay area.

as long as we're posting pics of me here's another one.
I let Tony Shultz drive my car and he said he liked it, it was very predictable.
nismo sways and tein s.tech(350z). I think the stiffer rate of the 350z springs is actually fighting me when I'm trying to drift. They seem to have dialed in more push than I'd like. I guess when I get some coilovers, I'll need to get softer springs for the back.
