Default where to find tie rod spacers

i cant seem to find tie rod spacers anymore. can anyone point me in the right direction.
the only ones Ive found are the powered by max but those are 7mm, i don't think i feel to comfortable with that. looking for 5mm or 6mm. do you guys think a 7mm would leave too little thread on the rod?

thanks

Im using the pbm spacers there's nothing wrong with using them, be sure and apply more loctite when putting inner tie rod back on, you will be fine goodluck.

Don't use any tie rod spacers on the stock tie rods. Loc-tite will do nothing for you. Ask me how I know.

If you have aftermarket tie rods with longer threaded portions then you'll be fine with PBM ones, apply plenty of loc-tite like Rurouni said.

My Tein inner tie rods have far more than three more threads than OEM.

I was running spacers on OEM inners for about two years, everything was working fine until I went to an event with not so great pavement surface. With the extremely abrupt changes in surface my tie rods were put at extreme angles that the very few threads just couldn't handle. After about 8 runs my passenger side inner tie rod popped out of my rack. My ride height probably didn't help since it puts the tie rods at an even more aggresive angle but with more threads threading into the rack it wouldn't have been a problem. Now I'm running tein inner tie rods and SPL outter tie rods using all three bump steer spacers.

thats the problem right there.........if your ride height is slammed then your asking for trouble... i know many drifters that have oem tie rods with spacers and have been fine. Their cars and mine arent slammed........no pro drifter has a slammed car......why, because they need their suspension to work for them.....

when you lower the Z.......the suspension goes up, the chassis goes down. the steering rack is attached to the k member and that stays put, so the tie rods point upwards aggressively.....

if your slamming your car, then yes, you should get aftermarket tie rods with more thread....

My car is pretty low I guess... I'm still curious, anyone seen them still for sale somewhere?

Jason- Yeah I know that's the cause, regardless though, after seeing how much more threads you get from the tein inners even if I was drifting at stock ride height it's worth the piece of mind. I'm not going to raise my car up to "professional" drifting levels, just not going to happen. Other than my tie rods popping out, my suspension has worked fine for me, more than enough to have fun and do everything I've wanted it to anyway. So I'll do what it takes to keep having fun while still having a cool looking car.

AngelsVQ- The tein inner tie rods? SPL sells them. They also come with rack spacers.
