Default what's your ave L/100km?

just wondering what people are averaging according to the onboard computer. i've been arguing with my dealer that my car is burning way too much gas, so i reset my computer while i was doing 120 km/h last night on the highway and it came out at 11.5... seemed a tad on the high side to me. also, how many kms are you going on a tank?

That sounds about normal from what I have heard. I have kept a written record and my best is 10.5 and my average is like yours around 11.5, of course this is with the cruise on and mainly highway. With aggressive driving these figures go out the pipe.

Wow 9.7, that would be nice, I can never stay off the go pedal though to achieve that.

I get on average 550 km per tank with a redline or two per day.

IMO, fuel efficiency depends a lot on how many times you start/stop the car for little trips.

Well you guys must have a light foot. I get only 13.1 L/100Km - not stuck in traffic but city driving. Mix hwy/city is about 12.5 L/100Km

That seems high even with a bunch of redlining pulls.. what type of gas do you use. Also make sure your air filter is not dirty. 12.1 was the maximum I reached driving 240 km/h from Richmond Hill all the way to Mississauga at 3 am with completely empty highway and took me 13 min!!

I use Sunoco 94, what gas do you use ? I also heel toe on every downshift, so that might have something to do with it too.

I use both Sunoco94 and Petro Canada 91 whichever available at the time.. no difference between the two in performance.

I always heel toe, it's an addiction.. I hardly use my brakes
