MSRP for a 2007 Nissan 350Z here in Canada is CAD$48,800+tax. Of course, that's for a Grand Touring model, but we don't have any other trim available. 
Obviously, this one is an imported American car as he states mileage in miles and is probably a base model.
To bring a US 2006 model to Canada works as follows:
US Price X exchange rate X duty (6.1%) + import fees.
So, brand new base 2006 would be something like:
US$26,000 x 1.15 x 1.061 + $300 = CAD$32,000 + Ontario tax(14%)
So, there's your apples to apples comparison.
