My front tires are perfectly legal but are getting noisy due to slight feathering, I'll happily give the existing tires to you if you want them.

 

Don't Nissan replace them for free under the TBD??

Mine were replaced for free even tho I had 30K on them

 

Most people are out of the in service date to get the tires replaced.

 

I've got a pair taking up room. Come by and see them anytime.

 

+1, my tires are still brand spanking new haha. Got mine swapped out after 32k km.

 

Yeah, I screwed up here. I didn't even realize that Nissan had extended the tire feathering warranty to 3 years for '04 CAD vehicles. Apparently Nissan sent out memos to all customers explaining this, but I never received such a letter.

Of course, I find this out one month after the vehicle turns 3 years old and the tire noise starts to become bloody annoying. Nissan washed their hands by saying vehicle is out of warranty, tough luck. After complaining to Nissan, the best they offered is to pay 2/3rds of cost for alignment check. I am responsible for replacing the tires.
