you like to give people alot of attitude don't you rayzzee? Everything thread i see from you asking for advice or help you just spit out attitude to someone who is trying to help you or inform you like in this case that the dealership is quoting you outrageous prices. You will probably find people are less likely to help you out if you are an a$$ to them.

There are a few setups you can run, your best bet is to research a bit and come to your own conclusion.

As for shops, you can try Speedstar, JRP, AMS Z store... and others
They will be able to provide you with suggestions and price quotes, however I must stress that you do some research before purchasing.
This way you can make an informed, intelligent decision.

I was personally going to go with the Powerslot Cryo rotors and EBC reds.. I still may.
Or get the brembo upgrade rotor package from one of the vendors mentioned, you should save at least 30%.

Good luck.

and a big question is what you expect out of the brakes? do you grip race often? looking for only daily street-braking?

brake upgrade kits or upgrade rotors/pads vary from both extremes in terms of price, so it really depends on what you want to do with them.

If you feel more comfortable staying with the stock rotors, you can buy stock oem brembo rotors and hawk pads around the $1000 range from vendors on this site.

If you want to save even more cash, you could look into aftermarket rotors (eg. DBA makes great rotors, better and nicer than stock) and you can buy your hawk pads and have money for steel braided brake lines and install for roughly the same price, around the $1000 range.

fyi, i'm pretty sure stock rotors for the brembos are nissan parts, not brembos. the only brembo part of the brakes is the caliper iirc.

the pads are as well, when the guys @ authoritymotorsport did the brakes on my z I wanted factory stuff and the pads came in a brembo box inside a nissan box. The rotors not sure of they ended up getting me brembo cross drilled for less then half the price they wanted from the dealer.

the brembo brake job with OEM **** is proablly the most expensive known to man!!! your price is for aftermaket stuff and really that kinda high.

My suggestion go to JRP or a tuner shop, or *** it and get a 14" big brake it...go big or go home alone.
