A lot of useless plastic behind the seats. Carpets behind the seats. Some speakers, tools, spare, passenger seat itself, random brackets, hatch weight.
I got some mods too...
Cusco LSD, nismo dif cover, soilid dif bushings, oem brembos, carbo tech xp10/8 combo pads, hotchkis sways...
wants... art pipes, coilovers but those are costly for the ones i want, spl compression arm bushings, light weight seats, braille 6.9 pound battery 285-35 Hankook RS3`s
I want to be really competitive in street class rwd in cscs. Going to continue with the weight reduction over the winter.

Yeah AC is prob gonna go. I just have NO POWER, so have to make up for it somehow.
Have to kill the Corvettes at CSCS. The winning times in Street class look to be in the 1:23.5 range. I think I can take 'em !!!!

I don't klnow about the final drive... my dif is apart right now so it would be too easy.
But I worry, what if I drop in an LS3 or something... will it all of a sudden be geared too short?

My car looks so bad *** inside now.
But really... spare, tools, carpets, passenger seat, low gas is going to be most of your weight loss. I knew this before I started but decided I needed the extra 80 to 100 pounds.

Looks cool esthetically.
If it were my car ride height would be 1.2 cm higher, wheel would be sunken in about 1 cm, and the tire would be at least 4-5 cm wider.

162.6 inlcudes enkeis with rs3's.
New calculations.... 25.6 pounds stripped today incl but not limited to headliner, bose 6 cd changer, some interior trim, a few pieces of dynamatting...
= 188.2 pounds total weight loss for open lapping.
= 142.2 pounds total for CSCS which requires passenger seat.
More to come.
