Places in the GTA for rims?
I'm trying to find a shop that will source a set of Volk GTS' in black... I've called a couple shops such as Tires23 and Speedstar. The prices were roughly the same but I want to save as much money as possible... If you know of any shops that could source these rims please post a name and a contact number...thanks....

Saving...
money and Volks usually don't go together. See what you can get from on-line retailers and compare to what you have been quoted. You will most likely come out the same or worse given shipping and import charges.
Another local shop not mentioned is that of JRP.
Good luck to you.

gotta pay to play bro. or buy used. i do have a set of used sf-winnings on sale soon...
you could save a tiny bit with online vendors, though dealing with them would be a hassle. Most of the savings will be lost when you pay customs/duties.
unless of course, you some how managed to get it through the border without paying duties...

Noodleman is right. I just picked up the same rims but in gun metal. I knew when i decided to get them that I would be dishing out a lot. If you want the best you have to expect to pay top dollars. Good luck in your quest.

well, you can save alot on tires from the US...the rims themselves are about the same regardless of where you get them.
though i'm ordering tires through this place, we'll see how it goes, it's saving me quite abit, and they're canadian.

Haha this is gonna sound iffy, but I know a guy that knows a guy at Macking (Japan) he told me to call him if we ever need volks etc. (He'd purchase in Japan and ship them over privately)
I never ended up getting volks but when I asked em for prices they were usually 100-300$ below what most places quoted me for.
w/ all the scams online I probably wouldn't go through this method either unless I knew the people fairly well.
Otherwise maybe you can tap some car forums and find some people w/ private wholesale accounts. I know a few guys but they mostly sell to friends/people they know. This could save you some money, but in the end if you want new Volks you more or less have to dish out the money.

Those are nice wheels. I would want to get the blue re-powdercoated to Nissan burnt orange to match my seats though.

Nah you save so much getting it from the vendors, just get one that will not declare the full amount. I did it and only paid 208 in duties and tax. so i still end up saving like 900 dollars.
Noodle man seen my rims so he knows what i got.
