Default Daytime Running Light Conversion

Anyone know where I can get this done cheaply?
I have a US 07 Z and the dealerships are quoting $500-600 as the BCM has to be changed.

yeah just turn your lights on everytime you drive... i have a 07ZR and if i dont turn my lights on during the day they will turn on by them selves... the type of headlight we have has no day time running bulb, so the daytime runing light runs on the headlight.....

I did the DRL myself about 2 months ago on an 03. Used thw Cdn Tire module for 35.00 and about 1 hour effort. Runs the parking lights rather than the HID's which I prefer. No problem passing inspection.

PM me for details if you wish.

lol i was about to pay Nissan 450$ to do it since i didn't trust canadian tire, but when i told my dad he told me he could do it for 5$ ( he is an electrical engineer )

here is what we did, i passed a wire from the front headlight (parking light) to a relay, next i found a fuse that turns on when i start the car and turns off when i shutdown the car, next i connected everything to the relay, now when i turn on the car the parking and rear lights turn on,

if u need detailed info you can reach me at 514-690-4481 and i can send u pics if u really need them ( btw the way it is a VERY CLEAN job you dont see any wires nothing!!! i can take pics i guess of how its done.

relay has 4 wires ;

+ batt ---------- to relay
- batt ---------- to relay
parking light wire ---- to relay
wire from fuse box ---- to relay

VOILA

when i passed my inspection for quebec the guy was impressed on how clean it was done

well i hope this cover everything (sorry for the messy writing i just got back home from a long day!)

hey i used to work at cdn tire... you can pick up the kit for 35$ n diy or let them do it for 1 unit.... they will have to do the RIV for you anyway ... so just let them do everything around $250..

P.S. most mechanics do crappy wiring in CrappyTire.
