How can you find out when the car was built?

#9 (paraphrased) either there is no immobilizer or an immobilizer that is non-compliant with Canadian regulations.

With respect to #9, the admissibility document may be out of date, because the federal government did make exceptions for vehicles without immobilizers or non-compliant immobilizers. It may be the case that there isn't an aftermarket immobilizer available that is compliant. I am not 100% sure.
I have a question about driving a car back.
Can I just slap my provincial license plate on it in the States in lieu of temporary registration from the State and drive it across the border with that?

Thanks. I just checked out a 2007 350Z in the US today. It was built on August 25th, 2007, just 5 days before Sept. I doubt the cars made after Sept have a different immobilizer than the ones built prior. I really like the car and do want to buy it, so it would suck if the Gov't said I couldn't because it was only built 5 days before the deadline.
I plan on calling them up and asking.
ok, after reading some other forums, I think I was mis-interpreting the RIV admissability list.
For post-Sept 1, 2007-built 350Z, it HAS to have the immobilizer since the Canadian law states that all cars built after Sept 1, 2007 must have immobilizer. That is why the '[EIS]' is listed next to it.
if the car was built before Sept 1,2007, it doesn't matter. So that means all 350Z built before Sept 1, 2007 are allowed, and any built after must have immobilizer.
I hope that makes sense.
This is the forum thread I read:

Where are the pics already?
Can anyone point me to the thread about installing DRLs the easy way? I saw it referenced somewhere but I can't seem to find it.
nevermind, found it: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....installing+DRL
Is it possible to post pics so we know which wire is for front headlights and for the wire that is "on" when hte car is turned on.
Also, which bulbs are used for DRL on the Canadian-market 350Z? The HID headlights or a seperate bulb? I imagine with the DIY method, the HID light would act as the DRL as opposed to a normal bulb. Wouldn't that affect the HID's longelivty?
