Been there done that.

When I first cleaned my motor, it lasted a season or two. Second time, it lasted a couple weeks. My advice to anyone thinking about cleaning their motor is don't waste your time.

To answer the original question, you can buy a genuine nissan motor from ebay for less than $200 including shipping to Canada.

Default window motor

I had the same problem with my 03. Went through 5 or 6 of them. The last one has worked fine for 3.5 years.
If your window is down. hit the door panel at the bottom with your hand. It should jar it enough so that it will work to get it up.
Lots of experence with that.

I did the clean and it worked for a month or two, and it's acting up again. So I'm gonna buy a new motor. I'll probably try ebay or that concept Z place.

hitting the panel while holding the switch worked for a bit. I cleaned it up and the brush is pretty much gone..so will need a new motor.

Default window motor

I just recently got my passenger door window replaced. it would randomly go up and down or simply stop working. Took it over to the dealership, mistake number 1.

$450 for the part
$100 to check to see if the motor was the problem
$100 to realize it was the motor and replace it

$650 just to get burned, Priceless!!! ARG!

Thinking about it makes me cry.

Mine also goes up and down Randomly as well. Not all the time just sometimes. Does it happen first before the window stops working? if so, normally how long do I have?

Better fix this before the winter is comes that is for sure!

Sorry to hear about the above price. Next time take it to Edvy he will take care of it .

At first I didn't really give it much thought. I would push the button and it would go back up. So it really didn't bother me. Murphy's law...it really bothered me when it went down during a rain storm, but stopped working.

I wish i knew Eddy back then. Awesome guy!
