sorry to hear about your stone chips...

The design of our front bumper and the fact that you are doing highway driving does not make for a good combination. Not to mention the fact that Nissan paint quality is not top notch. The 3M Cear bra will help a great deal - I have it on the lower part of my hood and I does an excellent job protecting against stone chips. I wish I did my whole bumper.

Some things to consider...

Live with the stone chips and repaint your bumper in a few years. Once you repaint then do a full 3M Clear bra on the bumper.

When drivng on the highway don't drive behind Dump Trucks and Tractor Trailers - remember to leave a good deal of distance between other cars.

At the end of the day highway driving will always lead to stone chips regardless of the vehicle. I guess I have come to deal with mine but I understand that everyone wants to keep their car in show room condition.

all the best

if you don't wanna spend like $400 to 3m it I would suggest fill in the chips with touch up paint and then wax your front end. put a bunch of coats on it. i hear this works. obviously not as good as 3m, but it will save you a lot of money right now.

i just got touch up paint at canadian tire. they have a ball-point pen on them so you can control the amount of paint coming out. as for coats i meant applying a few coats of wax. mothers or whatever product you like. it creates a really hard surface on your paint. and from what i hear can save u some paint chipping. unless someone else can comment on that, i would think its the cheapest fix for now

z-lover, definitely get the 3M clear bra and go with the full bumper wrap. I have got my last to G35s done by them and took a friends car also for the full front ent. They do excellent work.

It is not cheap but it is worth it.

The last car I took there was for an elderly friend. He had a new Cadillac.
I took it there and they did the full bumper wrap, leading edges of the front fenders and hood and the side mirrors. I left it for the morning.
It was $600 out the door.

I was quoted $450 for the entire front bumper (1 piece). It will take them a few hours to do. To be honest I think this is way too expensive. You would wanna put a strip on the bottom of your hood as well, which isn't included in that price.

I'd highly recommend 3M. I had it done on everyone of my vehicles. I just got my Z done (front, mirror, rear quarter panel and the first 6 inches of my roof...you wouldn't believe where debris shoots up to).

I'd recommend ventureshield waaay over 3M. Same idea but ventureshield is the latest generation of film. It is much better. Harder to see on the car, doesn't fade or yellow, guaranteed for life, etc. Check it out on the internet.

I have a friend with 3M on a similar colour car to mine with ventureshield and the ventureshield is much harder to see. Great stuff.
