Default my alarm is driving me nuckin futz, any idea how to adjust?

I got the car used. This alarm is a clifford. Its really effin sensitive. Cars set it off, the wind sets it off, a dust mite sets it off. Where can I adjust this? There's something that looks like a little mobile phone with an antennae attached to the top of the windshield, but I'm pretty sure thats just the reciever for the remote. Anyone have any ideas?

it sounds like you need to adjust the sensitivity of your shock sensors. i would guess they're most likely in your doors (as with mine), so getting at them may be a pain.

damn, okay thanks for the info. I think APH may kick a hole through my car, it keeps going off when they work on it, lol. And the guys in the parking lot hate washing my car.

A good shop mounts the shocks sensor to the steering wheel shaft .
Also depends on which model clifford you have as well. Do you know?
Look under the dash and keep tapping the wheel and look for the red light turn on when it flashes to find it.
Then turn the screw down to lower it , you may have to pop off the under dash cover.

there's kind of a red light bulb on the shaft under the wheel. There's also a blue light that flashes when the car is armed. Which is it? So how do I access the screw to turn it?

you got to look to find it.
Your the only one who is in front of it , we can only give you ideas.
Otherwise go to futureshop and ask them to adjust it for $20.

I didn't know they'd service an alarm they didn't install. Okay, I'll do that then. Thanks.
