Default Fluid change intervals ?

I drive my Z all year round, spring/summer/fall/winter, and put about 20,000km/year. I also track once or twice a year.

Can someone suggest the proper intervals for changing fluids for the Z?

Engine oil: I do this every 6,000km
Transmission fluid:
Clutch fluid:
Brake fluid:
Differential fluid:
Power Steering fluid:
Coolant:

Any other fluids I missed that should be changed in regular intervals??

Thanks

What I did for my Z:

Engine oil: 5,000
Transmission fluid: 40,000
Clutch fluid: once a year (I used DOT4 so they require more frequent changes)
Brake fluid: once a year (same as clutch)
Differential fluid: 40,000
Power Steering fluid: I've never done that in any of my cars.
Coolant: 80,000-100,000

I've done 15 track days with the Z, both drift and lapping. I also put 30,000km in one year DD and I redline at least once a day.

It's still running strong with the current owner which now has 110,000 km

Which shop should I go to get my brake, clutch, transmission, differential fluids changed?

Thanks.

By the way, what's the suggested schedule to change these fluids based on Nissan's recommendation?

speedstar and aph are both more than qualified to do these fluid changes for you, depending which one is more convenient for you.

I did it the hardcore way. DIY!

They're all pretty easy. Except clutch and brake where you'll need a second person to help you pump and hold for bleeding.

If you're lazy or don't want to get dirty. Then read Noodleman's posts. APH FTW

You know~! the blinker fluid you sold me last time..

Seriously though..
Ocean,
I followed pretty much the same schedule as Xuperxero (david), but I would recommend changing the oil at around 4500-5000km
Our revup motors do not like extended oil change intervals.
I used to change my oil at 3500-4000km intervals.. just to be on the safe side.

And I agree with Noodleman (J).. APH and SS are both my goto shops.

Just booked an appointment at Speedstart next week to inject the Z with new Motul fluids.

Another question.
With my driving conditions, if I use Motul 8100 synthetic engine oil, do I still need to change the engine oil every 6000km?

^Recommended 5000km or less. VQ are pretty dirty ***** .

Oil turns black pretty quick on the VQ's for some reasons...

Not cheap to do, especially with expensive oil. Stupid Motul costs $60 for 5L fark! and I always use K&N filters. That's another $15.

That's what I mean, oil change every 5000km can get really expensive with Motul 8100 at $60/5L.

Also, besides K&N what other engine oil filters should I use with Motul engine oil? Is the OEM Nissn oil filter OK?

^NO! Search around... someone cut up the Nissan OEM VQ filter and found it with cardboard endcaps... BIG NONO!! K&N is metal end cap.

Expensive... but that's what you get for owning a VQ...

$60 for added insurance.. thats pretty cheap if you ask me
For your usage, I would stick with the OEM filter. David is correct when he says it has a cardboard endcap, but unless your seriously tracking the z (which david), its unnecessary. -IMO
You can also use Amsoil

^You should probably change the brake and clutch fluid... It would make a difference after all those years.
Power steering fluid, I have no idea what the intervals should be. My 97 camry had 230,000k and never changed that fluid either, never had a problem with it.
Coolant: you should be fine. just check your reservoir bottle and make sure it's between L and H and make sure it's not dirty. If it's dirty, flush asap.
