Default LF: JWT Pop chrager or Stillen intake

Hey, I am looking for either the JWT pc and the stillen.

I have 04 and 03 airboxes for trade pus some cash. I was thinking $40-50 for JWT and $90-100 for the stillen.

If you have another intake (SRI) with a heat shield you will trade I will be happy to consider it.

Thanks,

Christian

not many people are going to want to 'trade' a stillen or JWT for a stock 03/04 intake, even +cash...so offering it as a trade probably won't help. just saying.

I tried lol. I know they're good, had one on my old 04 touring. I guess I can dish out new for the pop. I am just curious about the drilling of the hole for the heat shield. That makes me lean to the stillen, and I heard stillen sounds good... More thread searching for me to decide.

lol, I do not trust myself to work on the car. I love this car and would not want to mess up an install, regardless of how easy it is. lol What size bit did you use to get the hole drilled? Also, do you need to drill the other side of the heat shield (bottom)?

The hole is not much bigger than a pinhole. And its not even really needed, I didn't even bother on mine (although mine is mounted differently with an extra top shield and a catch can off the side...). It really isn't a big deal.

drill bit has to be just a bit smaller them the actual thickness of the bots minus the "teeth" if you want to call it. you have to in away force the screw in. if you cant do it with a crew driver, its too small, make it bigger. that should be the bench mark. other then that, you really dont need that much skill/experience to install that simple mod. that is all..

Thanks for the info. However due to an unexpected opportunity, I think I am going to spend a couple extra dollars on a borla muffler and custom TD exhaust.

Thanks,

Christian
