The NISMO heads have been reviewed already in another post. They are 46cc heads, but are not milled to achieve this. They are complete new castings, with a slightly shallower combustion chamber utilizing the same quench area as a stock head. The top of the chamber itself is modified, hence new valves are needed. I have heard conflicting reports of cams with these heads. Someone had stated that cams ground for the stock heads ( JWT, NISMO, etc. ) will not work and that these heads were designed for the NISMO BLANK camshaft. The blanks need custom grinding, but are designed to utilize more lift and duration than any stock fit cam will. No one on this board has bothered to post there own findings though, and the Performance Nissan guys I think decided not to go through the hassel of trying them out from what I gathered from the last post on the RZZ heads. I would love to see you guys buy and try these, supposedly they flow damn near as much as the 450hp NISMO NA VQ35 race engine's heads.

Resolute: from Nismo themselves the heads accept any cam, thats the info from the technical staff there. The current heads come with everythng except keepers and cams. If I remember correctly Perfromance heads were bare, no valves, springs, etc.. they had to start from scratch.

Also, haven't seen posts by him in awhile. Does he still work at performance nissan? Last I heard he was selling his Z to start over-did he?

He sold it on ebay, I dont think he even got 300rwhp. I could be wrong on that. He was the pioneer for this. He tried all combos he could. Including the first Nismo heads, which didnt add a thing rwhp wise.

Didn't Nissan have S-Tune and R-Tune 350Zs with pretty much all the available Nismo parts with only mild increase in power? Doesn't that kinda tell you what to expect?

We are working on the setup now our car will be displayed at ZdayZ with all the modifications.
We will post some spy shots in the next 2 weeks.
Sorry for not keeping up with the thread we have been trying to finish up the race car and a few customer cars and got side tracked on our NA Project.
