I am looking to get a reflash done and like the idea of $499 for the AAM reflash versus $595 for the TS one. I am not really looking for reasons the TS one is better or whatever.
Has anyone had the AAM reflash done? What do you think of it? Would you do it again and if not, why?
In case you are not familiar with the AAM reflash, here is what Dave Shiroma from AAM had to say regarding a question I sent them.
Hi Zach,
Our reflash will work with your car. We include Rev Limit Increase,
Speed Governor Defeat, and Throttle Open (for high RPM to open throttle body 100% as opposed to the factory that closes to 85%). We then mod the factory maps for your specific modifications. Our flash is essentially the same thing
the Technosqaure offers, we have just created our own library of
programs for specific mods on our in-house dyno. Technosqaure just provides us with the software to control the factory programs. I need your trim, all mods, and the ecu. Dyno charts will help us to create a program specifically tailored to your vehicle and mods, but are not necessary. We do need A/F
readouts and gear used for the runs.

i have it...i did a whole session with AAM and the ECU...we must have done over 50+ dyno runs....we tuned the car to the finest touch....gained alot of torque definatley...only have 2 mods though once i get exhaust headers cams and hf cats i should be pushing alot more and gain the real potential out of the AAM ECU reflash...they did a great job though...highly recommended though...if u do decide to get this...call dave and let him know Ben sent you over...he will give u the basic run down and pricing...
Good luck,
Ben
Good luck,

well, if you have: Cats, Ypipes, Ypipe back exhaust, Injen CAI, UR Crank Pulley with the AAM reflash, What are the usual gains?
I know this question is hard to answer, but Would it be better to get it reflashed first then put these mods above or get it all first, then reflash the ECU? would it make a difference?
Also would Nissan ever find out that our ECU has been messed with and void our warranty on tranny or engine?
thanks guys.
John.

nice gains! wouldn't I gain more if I have more mods? Should I take it after I get more mods on, or would it not matter?
Plus, yours said it was custom tuned. Can you tell me what's different than reg ECU tuning they do? Also do they include the dyno for free if they do ECU work?
thanks,
John.
